About

No-nonsense short description: I love to code and I love Dungeons & Dragons. The Internet is awesome and so are you! You are very welcome to stop by, have a look at all the stuff (well, there will be more, pretty soon™) and download the things you deem interesting. I know what it's like to have next to nothing on yourself, so pretty much anything will be free.

Support me on Patreon

You may show your support by pledging me some of your well-earned money on my Patreon Campaign: VTTAssets@Patreon

By pledging on certain levels, you can unlock several benefits for yourself:

Free

  • No Login or Patreonage* needed at all
  • You can browse this site and download/ access most of the content for free
  • For modules developed for Foundry VTT, you may use the in-game update checker to see if there is any update available, but you will head over here again and download it manually.
  • You will have access to the latest stable release of each software, if those versioning can be applied to it. It makes sense for software, but not for adventures or maps or the like.

* is this really a word? I am no native speaker, so...

Mug of Coffee

Let's be honest. There's not much of a difference to the free tier. You will have access to my Discord Server (if you ask nicely, I would toss you an invite just for free, too, I would love to hear from you) for showing me a bit of monetary support. But both of us will have a positive impact on our lives: You will be feeling great for sharing some of your riches for something you love, and I will feel great because any kind of affection will positively impact our well-being. Win: Win!

  • You will have access to my Discord Server, where you can discuss the content with me and report bugs (of course, there won't be any bugs. Just happy little features you never knew you wanted)

Healthy Snacks

Quality of Life is important for you. Not only that you will get the abiltiy to check for updates, they are just one click away. It's not that I don't want you here on my site, please visit me again! But we both know, that less effort is sometimes beneficial to our mental health.

Endless Mana

Bleeding Edge. You want everything and you want it now. You will have access to prereleases of each module or content I will release on this site, as soon at it is somewhat production-ready. As soon as I craft a release on my versioning control system, this prerelease will be automatically put on this page and you will have access to it instantaniously.

Furthermore, you can switch your channels very simply: Perhaps you want bleeding edge-features only on some modules, but are very happy with the stable releases on others? It's always your decision to make.

Do you really need money? I don't want to pay a dime!

I am just a hobby developer, with a full-time job that pays the bills, a family, a dog (who is unfortunately very sick right now, send some nice thoughts to her, please) and the desire to sleep each day at least a couple of hours. So my spare-time is pretty much limited, and I must choose very carefully what to do with these precious hours.

While developing the token editor, I spoke with a couple of people on the Foundry Discord (you should say hello, pretty nice people over there) and they expressed serious interest in it, even suggesting features I would not have needed for myself. So I started to include the desired features and well, if you release a software to the public, it needs to be way more polished than for personal use. You have to maintain it in the future, fixing bugs which might not bother you at all personally.

The consequence is, that a pretty decent amount of my personal spare time will be devoted to developing instead of having fun, playing Dungeons & Dragons with my friends. Futhermore, most of the stuff on here will be free forever, since I really want to provide something for the community. But if you can afford it, it would be a very appreciated sign to run a pledge on patreon, both for me personally and to show your interest in what I do.
